The Storymaker is a dark fable about a woman
who kills herself with her imagination. Unfolding over the
last day in her life, this window into her world tells of an age of
imagining, where society outside is reliant on her mind to fill a
void. A highly visual and sinister allegory of creative freedom versus a
commercial arts industry, The Storymaker examines the role of artist and
audience within a culture of exploitation.
